Christopher V. Matthews, M.D.

Christopher V. Matthews, M.D. graduated from LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans. He completed his residency in family practice at the Tallahassee Memorial Hospital between 1980 and 1983.

Dr. Matthews has been practicing medicine in Kingsport, Tennessee since 1996 as a member of Mountain Region Family Medicine. He is a past member of the Board of Directors of Mountain Region Family Medicine.

Dr. Matthews and his wife Barbara have been married for 28 years and have five children together ages 10 to 26.

Dr. Matthews hobbies and interest include model railroading, the outdoors, reading and raising his five children.
