Gregory DeMotts, M.D.

Gregory DeMotts M.D. Graduated from the University of South Florida in 1974 and from Medical School at the University of Florida in 1978. He completed a residency in family medicine at Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Virginia in 1981. He maintains certification by the American Board of Family Practice.

Dr. DeMotts is a member of the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Family Physicians. He is interested in treating cardiovascular diseases, hypertension, coronary artery disease, elevated cholesterol and congestive heart failure. His recreational interests include gardening, hiking and yard work.

He has served on the Mountain Region Family Medicine Board of Directors as well as the Board of Directors for Highlands Physicians Incorporated and Highlands Wellmont Healthcare Network. He currently serves on the Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center Bylaws Committee.
